Dear Overland Resident,
We recognize the delay in opening the pool at Overland has been a frustration and apologize for the delay.
The main circulation pump (yes, the new one) malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. We are pleased to announce the pump has been received and is in process of being installed. Once the circulation pump is operational, the pool still needs several days to filter/clean the water, balance the chemicals, heat, and pass an inspection by the Utah County Health Department. We will let you know as soon as we can when the pool will be open.
As the pool opening has been delayed, there will be some anticipated expenses that we will not incur. The Neighborhood Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Board of Directors will evaluate the final pool expenditures at the end of the season, make appropriate budget adjustments and will consider issuing some HOA fee credits.
